A player's health vial represents their physical condition. When it hits zero they are forced to abscond from battle. Whenever you climb a rung on your echeladder your max health (or "gel viscosity") increases.
- Players can regain health by defeating enemies and picking up vitality gel from enemies.
- A character's waking self can recover health by Wasting Time or fighting foes as their dream self, and their dream self will recover as they Waste Time or fight foes as their waking self.
- Players can gain health (and other effects) by consuming items such as jelly donuts or bottles of water.
- Players can also use Aspect Patterns on themselves and others to recover health. This has varying degrees of efficiency depending on one's class and aspect.
